Course Summary

The Level 4 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy (Soft Tissue Dysfunction) gives you basic and advanced skills in massage therapy, allowing you to treat patients suffering from pre diagnosed injuries, or long-term muscle complaints. You can help your clients correct common dysfunction practices to help prevent further injury and alleviate pain using massage.

Gaining a certificate in sports massage therapy means you can treat your current clients, and build your own practice.

How You're Taught

This course is delivered in person over 8 days, starting at 9am and finishing at 5pm each day.

Each day consists of theory lectures and practical sessions, covering all aspects of the qualification.

You will be expected to practice massage techniques on your peers and your peers will also need to practice on you. You will therefore need to wear comfortable clothing and footwear and bring a change of clothes, preferably shorts and a T-shirt. Changing rooms are available.
