Kinesiology taping has been used in the treatment of various neuromuscular, neurological, orthopaedic and medical conditions since the mid-1970s. However, use of the technique by athlete’s at the 2008 Beijing Olympics led to a huge increase in interest in the potential benefits of taping and demand for practioners who could offer this service. Many therapists have embraced its benefits and use kinesiology taping in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries on a variety of clients – from athletes with complex injuries to regular clients with common muscle and joint complaints. Consequently, kinesiology taping has become a highly sought-after additional skill for many practitioners.
Completing our kinesiology taping training will allow you to provide your clients with an in-demand service, whilst broadening your skill set. With this training you will be able to offer your clients a wider range of services and better meet their individual needs.
The training runs over a full day and includes both theory sessions and practical workshops.
Completion of the training leads to an Envisage Certificate of Attendance.
Please note: To attend this training, you must have already completed a Level 3 Sports Massage qualification
