The aim of this qualification is to provide the skills, knowledge and competence required for an instructor to design and deliver safe and effective kettlebells sessions.

The aim of this qualification is to provide the skills, knowledge and competence required for an instructor to design and deliver safe and effective kettlebells sessions. To be eligible for this course, students must already have a level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Exercise to Music or Gym Based Exercise).
This course is completed in one day (9.00-5.00PM), this includes assessment. The assessment involves written worksheets and a practical session.
If successful in all the assessment elements, students will be awarded a YMCA Awards Level 2 Award in Instructing Kettlebells.
On completion of this course, in order to gain a wider range of expertise, students may be interested in other Level 2 specialist modules. Examples include, Circuit Training, Group Indoor Cycling, Suspended Movement Training and Health Related Exercise for Children.
